Who We Are
Our Story of Compassion and Action
Founded in 2023 and incorporated in 2024, Active Love Foundation is a registered non-governmental organisation headquartered in Langata, Nairobi, Kenya. Our foundation was born from the personal experience of our founder, Rose Odindo, who witnessed firsthand how financial barriers can derail educational journeys for talented girls.
We focus on supporting junior secondary and high school students in Langata and Siaya through scholarship facilitation, safe housing, and nutritional support. Our work is guided by core values of Compassion, Integrity, Empowerment, Equity, and Community Ownership — keeping girls in school and opening doors to higher education.

Project Msichana Shuleni: Keeping Girls in School
Our flagship initiative is designed to empower bright, impoverished girls aged 13-21 in the Nyanza and Nairobi regions of Kenya.
Scholarship Facilitation
We cover administrative costs for scholarship applications and provide comprehensive guidance through complex processes, including support for tests like SATs.
Safe Houses
We operate safe houses in Nairobi and Kisumu that provide secure residential facilities for girls during holidays and transition periods.
Daily Feeding Program
We provide daily nutritious meals for 100 high school girls during school terms to ensure consistent nutrition and improved concentration.
Digital Platform
We're developing a user-friendly platform for girls to express their needs, access resources, and connect with the foundation.

If you know a girl aged 13 - 21 from an impoverished family in the Nyanza or Nairobi regions who is excelling academically but faces significant barriers to continuing her education, we encourage you to submit her case for consideration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age between 13 and 21 years
- Demonstrated financial need
- Enrollment or intention to enroll in secondary school or university
- Commitment to education and project activities
